Do You Remember the Day You Got Your Driver's License? I can, the joy, the liberation, INDEPENDENCE and the FREEDOM! But now it and my 57 Ford Fairlane are a distant memory, totally overshadowed by the day I was told that my vision was too poor to keep driving. My pickup and go got up and went and now I wait for someone to call and tell me they are going somewhere and I can 'come along' or they ask if I need to get out. Heck YEAH... I need groceries, a cup of coffee with a friend or a haircut because everything is better when I look and feel sharp.
