VITAS is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Proactive Caller Volunteers , offering support and companionship to hospice patients and their families. As a volunteer, you’ll make “check-in” calls to patients and their loved ones—providing a listening ear, ensuring they have needed supplies, and identifying any service concerns.
