Alzheimer's Association Support Group Leader

The Alzheimer's Association® is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to serve as Support Group Leaders in Plainville . Support groups provide a welcoming and supportive environment where caregivers and families affected by Alzheimer's disease or other dementias can connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. As a Support Group Leader, you'll help facilitate meaningful conversations, provide emotional support, and connect participants with valuable Alzheimer's Association resources. Training, ongoing support, and program materials are provided by our staff team. We are also actively seeking volunteers interested in serving as co-facilitators for both in-person and virtual groups as part of our support group expansion efforts. Whether you have personal or professional experience with dementia, your time and compassion can make a profound difference in the lives of local families. Interested in learning more?
