Host an International Student: Meet Carla from Spain!

Carla is a bubbly and mature 14-year-old entering 10th grade. Her teachers describe her as responsible and thoughtful. She is an adventurous only child who loves paddleball, skiing, and traveling. Carla enjoys staying active and is excited to get involved in school activities like art and math. She is looking for a host family to share this new "adventure" with. We are looking for a host family to welcome Carla into their home as a member of the family. Whether you have kids, are empty nesters, or are a single-parent household, what matters most is your heart for cultural exchange. Responsibilities: Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment. Provide three meals a day (student has their own spending money for eating out). Treat the student as a member of the family, not a guest. Help the student integrate into the local community and high school. Volunteer opportunity (no stipend is provided) Qualifications: Must be at least 25 years old. Ability to pass a background check. Have a spare bedroom (students can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender and similar age). A heart for cultural exchange and supporting a young person's dreams!
