Food Pantry Helper

Jericho's Food Pantry has seen its need quadruple since the pandemic, and so we're in need of extra hands to serve those who are struggling to put food on the table. Our pantry operates on Fridays, but we have opportunities on Mondays-Thursdays too. These include unloading deliveries, organizing product, inventorying items, and preparing bags of non-perishables for distribution. Hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm. We're asking for a minimum two-hour commitment, at least twice a month. On Fridays, our greatest need is between 10:30 and noon, when our food truck needs to be unloaded. (Lifting involved.) Our distribution continues to be no-contact (directly into cars) from our indoor-outdoor staging sites.
