Eucharistic Minister for Hospital Patients

Gaylord Hospital is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Eucharistic Minister to bring Holy Communion to patients in a hospital setting. Our ministry team offers a meaningful way to share God’s presence with those who are ill, isolated, or in need of spiritual support. Role Details Commitment: 1 time per week Time Required: Approximately 3 hours per visit Location: Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford CT Responsibilities: Visit assigned patients Offer prayer and distribute Holy Communion Provide a calm, compassionate presence Who We’re Looking For A practicing Catholic in good standing Already trained/commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister by their local parish. Someone who is kind, reliable, and comfortable interacting with patients and staff. Someone who coordinates with the volunteer ministry team to provide needed coverage.
